Savant is no more. This was one of the sites that got me back into the comics thing after a long absence. I attended a crappy convention on a whim and someone was handing out printed copies of Savant. It helped point me towards some of the more interesting stuff going on in comics.

I think, overall, the state of the comics community online is in better shape now than when Savant started (although why people still use Delphi forums will never make sense to me) but it will be a little worse off without it.
