Cubs Lose!

Proving that all is normal in the world after all, the cubs lost today.

It was upsetting to me, but I think I am accepting it now. What fun is it being a fan of a winning team, anyways? What do you learn from that? Losing teams teach you about patience and heartbreak, remaining optimistic in the face of bad things.

Although I am still not sure how I started paying attention to sports again, but it seems to coincide with my inability to watch fictional TV series. Perhaps there is something nice about unexpected endings?
