Home sweet home
Well, I think I am starting to settle in, at least a little. This is my first time invading someone else's space (and life) like this, instead of being the one invaded. It is really different on this side. My lovely host and I finally had a good talk last night about some of the minor annoyances and things, and it felt very good to make sure these things don't get bigger. This weekend will tie our record for most time together, I think, so we will be exploring new territory soon! I think it will work out if I don't go crazy from too much working at home.
Speaking of which, I should get back to work so I can get finished before my hot date tonight!

The New Home Office
Welcome from our new home, in several respects. Not sure if this will lead to an increased or decreased posting volume, but we'll find out together.
So far everything seems to be going quite well!

Halloween?
Happy Halloween, everyone! I know I'm late, but it is still worth mentioning. And this year I realized one of the things that makes Halloween particularly good, at least how it gets celebrated here; it is the only major holiday that essentially requires interaction between neighbors. Most holidays are spent with family and friends. Maybe for July 4 you go to the park and sit next to your neighbors, but for Halloween every family with kids walks around the neighborhood and shares at least a few words with the neighbors. Not a bad thing.
And we're still waiting on the pics to have something to post here, although this year's may be disappointing to everyone who searches this site for "halloween pictures boy dressed as girl" and similar things. Sorry, maybe next year.
And expect posting to remain sparse here as we move the headquarters for an extended amount of time. Much fun and excitement awaits!
