Away from the cold
Well, I actually had a visit back to WI that wasn't too bad. And I made it back to the big city, which feels a little strange to me. A couple of stores closing, the Korean BBQ across the street raising their prices for lower quality meat, and parking still being difficult to find. But then the weather was nice today and I took a little urban hike over the hills to the other side of the city and realized that, yes, it is still January even if you can go for walks like that. But I am still feeling restless, unsettled, preparing for change. I just need my co-conspirator to decide on a location!

Back to... somewhere else
Well, my fun and games and good times in Charlottesville had to come to an end. It was a really great time full of lots of good memories. Having to leave that to get back into the dreary day to day things seems terrible... but there should be more good things in the future to look forward to!

Well, it is a new year. I am nervously anticipating the new year - lots of good stuff could happen. We'll do what we can to make that happen. No real resolutions, but I do hope to try to help make things a little better than they were in 2003.
