Do you want to end the world?
Sometimes we do get lucky and people make the right decision. I worry that there are more and more people, for all sorts of different reasons, that would decide differently.
Perhaps our only hope is to write better software. And that means we really are in trouble.

What year is this?
Oh right, 2005.
I guess things are progressing on all fronts, never as fast as I would like, but I still enjoy myself more often than not. Can't be too upset by that. I need to start thinking about long-term goals again, or at least make a real plan for figuring that out. Or at least a deadline. It is so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, but sometimes you need more than that, you know?
And with those vague comments, I will go back into my blog-free hole, I'm afraid. Too much work that provides more meaningful rewards than this, I'm afraid.
